With the lockout near an end, has anybody contacted Direct TV about getting a discount on this? I got a renewal thing in the mail about a month ago for over $300! Last year, I got it for free where I moved but in the past I have talked them down considerably on the sticker price. Anybody tried this year?

May entice me to go with them, but where i have an older home hardwood floors it would be a pain to get them to install. The first year would be ok but im afraid of what monthly fee will be for second year
My first year I paid around 55-60 bucks per month, but after all the promotional stuff went away I paid 105. I recently called and got them to give me free HD since I do automatic bill pay so that saves 10 bucks. I'll probably shop around once my contract is up in January.
